P&ID Automated Reporting & Specification Sheets

The data collection software auto populates many basic reports, but it also has the ability to make equipment specifications sheets and Instrument specification sheets. Making this another reason why the P&ID application stands out from the rest.

List of the Basic Reports

  •  Drawing Index - a drawing list is auto populated within the drawing set. As the user creates a new drawing or duplicates  an existing one the report gets auto-populated.
  • Equipment Index - a equipment list is auto populated within the drawing set. As the user creates a new piece of equipment or duplicates an existing one the list gets auto-populated.
  • Instrument Index - a instrument list is auto populated within the drawing set. As the user creates a new piece of instrument or duplicates an existing one the list gets auto-populated.
  • Valve Index - A valve list is generated from every valve added to the P&ID, regardless if it has a valve number or not. This report lists the Valve number, size, rating, spec code or flange rating, and P&ID number. As the user drops in a new valve the list gets auto-populated.
  • Validation Report - This generates a list of all open ended piping and continuation arrow errors. This report is very useful if you are doing a field walk down and need to verify that all pipe have been field verified.
  • Instrument missing specification sheet - This will list all instruments in the drawing set that does not have a specification sheet assigned to it. The program automatically assigns a a generic template for an instrument, if this template is not changed, the software then adds it to the report so a subject matter expert can review the instrument at a later date to fill in the required information.
  • Unknown Report - The unknown report list any unknown component the user adds to a P&ID. This allows a subject matter expert to come back and look at the item and revise as necessary. the Unknown component allows a user a way to continue if they cannot recognize the item they are field verifying.

List of Specification Sheets

  • Instrument Specification Sheets - There are 31 instrument specification sheets that the user can pick from to apply the instrument specs. All can be viewed or printed from the application. These Specifications sheets can be customized or new ones can be imported.
  • Equipment Specification Sheets - As the user builds a piece of equipment, the application starts to construct a equipment specification sheet. This sheet consists of a silhouette of the equipment with nozzle locations and labels, equipment data sheet, a nozzle schedule, and any photos associated with it. All can be viewed or printed from the application.
